Project Overview
2025 Annual Pavement Rehabilitation (CIP #25-001)
Description
This project will resurface pavement on city streets as identified in the City’s Pavement Management Program and as funding will allow. Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and other factors are used to prepare a recommendation of priority street segments to receive pavement rehabilitation in a given fiscal year. The type of rehabilitation work will vary from scrub-seals and micro-surfacing to grinding/paving or recycled pavement options depending on the condition of the roadways. These projects will also upgrade pedestrian facilities to meet accessibility requirements and often include bike lane striping and traffic safety enhancements like crosswalks. The Complete Streets and Pathways Oversight Committee reviews the pavement management data and streets recommendation list, considers public input, and makes a further recommendation to the City Council for the final approval of each annual pavement rehabilitation project.

Paving will occur on Clay Court (Alameda del Prado to private portion), Redwood Blvd (Rowland Blvd to 150' N of Rowland Blvd), Rowland Blvd (Redwood Blvd to S. Novato Blvd), Indian Valley Road (Chamberlain Ave west to City limits), Sherman Avenue (DeLong Ave to Grant Ave), and Grant Avenue (Seventh St to Eighth St).
