Dates: July 10-12, 2020

Format: This is a 24-team tournament and all teams are guaranteed six games: two on Friday, two on Saturday and two on Sunday. The 24 teams will be divided into eight pools of three teams each. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the 16-team Gold Bracket. The eight remaining teams will advance to the White Bracket.

Eligibility: This is a basketball tournament for high school varsity level teams only and is intended for team development. All-star teams, i.e. teams comprised of players from more than one school will not be allowed to participate.

Entry Fee: $450 per team. No refunds will be made after Friday, June 12, 2020.

Registration: To register, return the registration form along with the tournament entry fee of $450 payable to the "City of Novato". A Waiting list will be established after 24 teams have registered. Deadline is Friday, June 12, 2020 unless already full.

Uniforms: Each team must have numbered jerseys. Bring reversible jerseys or two different colored shirts in case teams have the same colors.

Lodging: Please see the Novato Chamber of Commerce web site for local hotel/motel information. 

Awards: First through third place team trophies plus consolation champions. Most valuable player award and 10 all-tournament selections will be awarded after the championship game in the main gym.

First Aid: Each team should bring a first aid kit. We will have ice available at the gyms. There will be no trainer at the tournament.

Referees: CIF-sanctioned referees will officiate.

Individual player waivers are due at the tournament check-in table in the Gordon Gym PRIOR to your first game. Each player must have a completed waiver with a parent/guardian signature before participating in our tournament. Click here for blank waiver form.
