Pioneer Park Inclusive Play Community Meeting / Reunión comunitaria para discutir juegos inclusivos en Pioneer Park

Join Novato Parks & Recreation for a community meeting on Monday, November 4, 6:30pm at the Downtown Recreation Center, 950 7th Street in Novato to discuss the addition of inclusive play features for Pioneer Park’s play area. Learn about the scope of the project, review design features, ask questions and collaborate.

Novato Parks & Recreation has been awarded a matching grant from California Parks & Recreation Society, in partnership with PlayCore and their GameTime brand, to support improvements to the Pioneer Park play area. The City is committed to providing key design elements to the play area that provide opportunities for inclusive play. Inclusive playgrounds are thoughtfully designed to provide a safe place where children of all abilities can play together and are developmentally appropriate for children with and without disabilities.

GameTime Representatives, Novato Parks & Recreation and Novato Public Works Staff will be present to answer specific questions and facilitate discussion.

Childcare will be provided.

El Departamento de Parques y Recreación de Novato le invita a una reunión comunitaria el lunes 4 de noviembre a las 6:30 p.m. en el Downtown Recreation Center, 950 7th Street. El propósito de la reunión es discutir el proyecto para modificar el área de juego de Pioneer Park mediante la instalación de estructuras accesibles de juego. Conozca el alcance del proyecto, repase las características del diseño, haga preguntas y colabore.

Parques y Recreación recibió una subvención de la Sociedad de Parques y Recreación de California, en asociación con PlayCore y su marca GameTime, para apoyar las mejoras en el área de juego de Pioneer Park. Novato se compromete a proporcionar elementos de diseño para el área de juego que brinden oportunidades para el juego inclusivo.
