City of Novato's Parks and Facilities Directory

Whether you are a first time visitor or a regular guest, we hope that you enjoy the many parks and facilities that the City of Novato's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department has to offer. From Pioneer Park picnic tables and Bay Trail walkways to bocce ball courts and soccer fields, we have a wide variety of parks and facilities that are available for you to enjoy.

  • Please visit the Parks & Facilities Reservations page to learn more about the many parks and facilities that are available to rent. This includes parks/picnic areas, indoor facilities, and athletic facilities.

Parks & Facilities Related Concerns:

  • The City of Novato Public Works Department maintains parks and facilities. Submit an online service request to report parks or median issues, potholes, traffic signal problems, graffiti and other non-emergency repair needs. 
  • Emergencies and safety related concerns should be directed to the Novato Police Department. If you see something, say something. For emergencies, please dial 9-1-1. For 24/7 Non-Emergency Dispatch please call 415-897-4361. Thank you for keeping our parks safe for all! 

Novato City Hall
901 Sherman Avenue, Novato

Novato City Hall is a centrally located downtown facility, providing both indoor and outdoor options for events. Originally built in 1896, this was the site of Novato’s first Presbyterian Church. The church was built in the Victorian Gothic style of architecture and served as Novato City Hall from 1963 to 2005. In 2009, it was renovated and Novato City Hall once again serves as a civic anchor in the heart of Novato’s historic downtown.

Novato City Hall is ideal for meetings, banquets, weddings and other social events. The bright lobby opens to a spacious brick patio area that overlooks the Civic Green. The lobby, patio, and Civic Green all offer additional options for event staging. The Caterers' Room offers a convenient food and beverage preparation spaceNovato City Hall.

Tables and chairs are included in the rental and will be set up by staff prior to your arrival. Novato City Hall has 60" round tables that seat 8, plus 6’ and 8’ food and beverage tables. Linens, cookware, china and cutlery are not provided in the rental.
