City of Novato's Parks and Facilities Directory

Whether you are a first time visitor or a regular guest, we hope that you enjoy the many parks and facilities that the City of Novato's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department has to offer. From Pioneer Park picnic tables and Bay Trail walkways to bocce ball courts and soccer fields, we have a wide variety of parks and facilities that are available for you to enjoy.

Parks & Facilities Reservations:

Please visit the Parks & Facilities Reservations page to learn more about the many parks and facilities that are available to rent. This includes parks/picnic areas, indoor facilities, and athletic facilities.

Parks & Facilities Related Concerns:

The City of Novato Public Works Department maintains parks and facilities. Submit an online service request to report parks or median issues, potholes, traffic signal problems, graffiti and other non-emergency repair needs.

The Hamilton Community Center is located in the heart of Hamilton Field, a former military base located in southern Novato. The Community Center features a spacious West Wing amongst several smaller meeting spaces, making this facility an ideal place for classes, meetings, birthday parties, and celebrations of all kinds.

West Wing:

Hours: M-Th from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Capacity: Classroom style 64, theater seating 130
Room Features:
- Tables (8' rectangle)

- Sounds system with microphones

Front Conference Room:

Hours: M-Th from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

- Four 8' tables creating one long conference table

- Whiteboard

Art Studio:

Hours: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Capacity: Conference style 20
Room Features:
- Partial kitchen; refrigerator, small sink, small counter

The Bay Room:

Hours: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Capacity: Classroom style 30
Room Features:
- Children's tables
- Children's chairs
- Small outdoor fenced in play area adjacent to the Bay Room

Want to book a space at this facility? We recommend submitting a rental inquiry (indoor facility) first to receive availability details and suitability feedback within 4 business days before formally applying.

While the inquiry will NOT reserve the space, it allows us to provide helpful preliminary guidance to inform your decision on whether to proceed with a full permit application.
